I'm a dancer.Everytime before I perform, I use hair remover.I 've read in beauty magazines before that its a myth that hair will be thicker after we've shaved them. This is because originally our hair is fine at the tip, but once we shave it,the fine ends become blunt, and resulted looking thicker. My question is, does the diameter of the hair increases?
Does shaving actually makes ur hair grow thicker scientifically and practically?
no it does not. Only the blunt cut off end grows out, so it seems thicker and courser, but its still the same size hair follicle so its still the same size hair. It just seems thicker.
