I need to know the name of a relaxer (perm) remover for african american permed hair?

Its called grow it out. Meaning their isnt one. You cant reverse chemical processing. You can remove color from died hair by stripping it, but that is only because hair dye deposits color on the hair shaft. Even when you do that, the hair doesnt go right back to its natural state.

The best way to get the perm out is to grow it out. IF you are too afraid to cut it, start by getting an inch taken off every month or so and wearing it braided. Everytime you take your hair down, deep condition and cut it an inch or so.

there's no relaxer remover, but you can strip your hair using different shampoo's that will weaken the strenght of your perm. example pantene not the one for us in the brown bottle but the regular one in the white bottle. or you can just let your perm grow out. should take about 4 to 6 weeks depending on the texture of your hair.

Have you tried Motions products? Be careful however. You may want a hairstylist to do that for you.

So... what happened? You relaxed your hair, and now you don't like how straight it got and how awful it made your hair feel?

Relax, sweetie... despite what these people above say, there IS a Relaxer Remover... it's called: The Hair Cuttery.

Good luck, schmuck.
