well,there is no other effective way apart from shaving im afraid.Use plenty of shave gel/moisturising soap and a razor with those moisture strips on for extra comfort and protection.Underarm hair grows in all directions so you may need to shave up,down,and side to side to get a smooth effect.

I shave using lots of deodorant instead of soap as I find I don't need to apply it afterwards when it stings as it goes in the open pores. Waxing generally lasts longer although I would recommend getting it done professionally as it is a really difficult place to do.

For one, an epilator pulls the ahirs out from the root and even though its a bit painful, you get used to it, im 16 and its fine for me! *my mum uses hers also, never share*
