the chick that does my hair told me if i took the brown out of my hair that it will turn it orange, if that was true, why in the world do they make stuff like colour remover then??

I am a cosmetologist...go to a salon...It will turn orange if you bleach it because you can only lift the color of your hair 3 levels at a time...u cannot put the 40 volume on your scalp or you will have burns all over your scalp. Let a professional do it.

i have actually had the same problem. you can but first you have to bleach it so it turns a really bright orange. then you have to dye it as close to your natural color and wait for it to grow out.

this is because color doesn't lift color it just goes to a lighter shade.
