I had glue in hair extension, used the remover oil, and now my hair is a greasy, slimy, black mess! Any suggestions/products that help get your hair back to normal?

Usually shampoo with baking soda works well. Just add about a teaspoon of baking soda to your shampoo and let it sit in your hair for about 10 mins. If that does not work, this sounds strange but, go to wal-mart in the car section. You will find Mechanics Hand Goop. This will work guaranteed. It is safe and non-toxic. It also removes Vaseline from hair. Safe enough for children too.

I would check out the beauty supply businesses, they should have glue remover. you could use mineral spirits sold at paint stores, but it highly flame-able! Beware, also check out the hardware stores. wash with dawn liquid detergent, leave it on a few minutes. I think extensions are fun but a mess in the long run. ... not worth the effort....

Go to your local Sally's Beauty Supply and buy some a product called cholesterol (i know it sounds funny). It is a product you put on your hair while it is dry and it is kind of oily. This may help get it out if shampoo or good old fashion dish soap doesn't work. Worst case the cholesterol will make your hair supper soft and conditioned.

when my sis had glue in her hair she use a little alcohol and dabbed it on the hair and glue and it came off then she washed and condition it but u probably did to much to it already so head to the beauty shop (asap)

put peanutbutter in youre hair were the glue is, the glue should stick to the p/b. this works with bubble gum. If that doesn't work call Joseph Hazellwood,

Bond remover and a fine tooth comb....the wash your hair..... vaseline will make it come out but create a greasy difficult mess to get out of your head. You have to work the bond remover in really well and comb it out. I would get some extra bottles. You can follow up with a bond remover shampoo which only washes away residue from the bond remover.
