Hair dilemma?

I recently tried to go from bleach blonde to my natural color, medium brown, and it ended up a dull black. The salon said there was nothing i could do but there has to be something! Does anyone have any suggestions, maybe for hair dye remover or hair dye to put over this in general? The hair color I wanted was close to this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94799509@N0...

Help is greatly appreciated!

well, dying it will just damage it more, but if you absolutly hate the color, and must dye it, use a reddish brown color, it will counteract that dullness...otherwise it could end up looking greenish.

Hair dilemma?

If your hair is black now there is not much things you can do about it. Is it a permanent dye? If so, i'm sorry to say this - but there really nothing you can do. Anyway the black tint which can seem very strong in the first days, it will go a bit lighter as the times goes by. Maybe you just wait till it grows and trim the hair gradually untill it ends up with your natural colour- which seems really pretty. I'm letting my hair grow now and i have decided not to do anything harmfull with it. No perms, no tints, just healthy virgin hair.

But Hey, that's me- i think one should have fun with the hair, no matter what it will always grows back.

Good luck!

You could always get your hair stripped, thats what i had to do! it put me back to my natural hair color!! ( it didnt ruin it either ) OR you could dye it, or wait till it grows out

well good luck!

Be very careful try ing to go back to your natural color from bleach blonde. You could end up with a green color on your hair and that would be worse than dull black. The salon stylists were just playing it safe. People love to blame the hairdresser for their mistakes you know. Try a reddish brown to be safe and let your natural color gradually grow in.
