I want to get back to my natural hair color myself!? HELP!?

My natural haircolor is like a dark blonde.. almost a light brown.. i hear the call it "bronde" or something, but i've been dying my hair for a long time now and i just really want to have my natural color back. I usually dye my hair myself, right now i dyed it with the lightest possible nice n easy clariol blonde, and it has some honey blonde and very very light blonde in it from previous dyes. I really want to dye it darker myself, but i've heard so many ways to do it and i'm not sure which one is the right way, or what hair dye i should use! Please answer this, and i need specific answers, like what brand/color to use. I was also thinking that maybe it was a good idea to use that loreal haircolor remover before I dyed it again because i don't want it to get brassy! HELP!

If you want it to be your natural hair color. Quit coloring it and let it grow out.

i say this in bold because a few years ago i tried colour remover myself and ended up with green hair. my hair colour sound similar to yours. You have to be careful with hair dyed blonde because it has little or no red pigmant and if dyed yourself can go green........as i found out at my expense.

I ened up putting so many chemicals on my hair that no hairdresser within a 20 mile radius would touch it for fear it would fall out. so my suggestion would be to find a good hairdresser and get them to either remove the colour or dye it darker.

You'll have to leave it alone and let it grow out but good luck. You may not be able to get back to your natural color because you're getting older and you've been putting chemicals in your hair. It's one of the risks.

if you want to go back to your own colour go to a hairdresser and have it done right they can colour match it better than you.then you can do it your self after that just ask them what colour they used.

I have had BAD BAD BAD experience with the Loreal haircolor remover. It turned my hair bright orange and then the color wouldn't take to it at all.

I do like the Preference line of Loreal colors. They come in the gold box. My hair is about the same color you're describing. Try the "light ash blonde" shade. It is as close to my natural color as any I have found. And the Preference line won't make it brassy. If it is too dark, leave it alone and give it a couple of washings. It will lighten up a little after a few days.

hiya i'm a hairdresser...

u need to go to a salon to to do this..as its colour correction. its not a simple case of dying it darker n hopin 4 the best. cos u need to add the tones of ur orignal hair colour (i.e. brown hair red tones, blonde hair gold tones) b4 u can dye it, it needs to b done @ a salon as it needs the know how and actual right peroxide level etc to do so.

ive not used it myself but most people i now that have dyed their hair and liked it they used that loreal hair colour removal and it worked really well. so that is my suggestion

get a color that is as close to your natural color and dye it, then just let it grow out, it is less obvious that way, my sister did it and it worked wonderfully.
