Hair dye question??

How do you get permanent hair dye out?

I dyed my hair black and I want to change the color.

I used a hair dye remover and it didn't do anything but get out the dye at the roots.

I have also been told that if I use Joy or Dawn dish washing soap, it might get it out? Never tried it.

Any other helpful tips I could use? Please help?

Um instead of letting it grow out, tell your mom to take you to a salon and they'll fix it for you.

In other words they will bleach your hair to the color of blonde you want and get rid of the black in your hair, however the chemicals fry your hair.

well maybe you should just let your hair grow out and be patient.

I'd highly recommend going to a professional to do it for you... using a dye stripper on your hair damages it really badly... you should see what they recommend...

OI HAD THE SAME POBLEM. I HAD TO GO TO THE PROFESSIONALS, THEY DYED MY HAIR LIGHTTER SHADES TO A COLOR I LIKED

i think if you go to the hairdressers they can strip the hair colour.

baking powder may help,

also try

dandruff shampoo.

you could try dying over it or going to the hair dresser and asking them but i have a feeling that using that soap you were talking about would do bad damage to your hair if it is strong enough to get out hair dye?

You should try vinegar. It's worth a shot since it's not too caustic.

OMG!!! i remember when i messed up my hair i used a product called blackout they sell it at sally beauty supply for like12.99 and it only takes on little bottle.. it left my hair like a really light blondish reddish color

its probably best to go to a hair stylist and get it stripped but the cheaper way out is to try baking soda and mix it with a shampoo let it sit for about 15-30 minutes and it should take it out...good luck!!

you may need to let it grow out first

try this:

if your hair is longer you need to cut it like where we have the shoulders every month and then let it grow where you used to have it and your hair color will be back just be patient :)
